Director of Digital Campaign Strategy & Marketing

Reports to: Office of the CEO (Victor Hwang, Founder/CEO; Kim Lane, COO)

Type: Full-time employee

Compensation: Salary starts at a minimum of $100,000, with flexibility for senior candidates who bring additional experience or skills.

Position Overview

Right to Start is building a national movement to make entrepreneurship a first-tier civic and economic priority during America’s 250th startup birthday year.

America the Entrepreneurial (AtheE) is our flagship national campaign, the public front door to our mission. It mobilizes entrepreneurs and supporters to take civic actions that build the public momentum necessary for policy reforms.

The Director of Digital Campaign Strategy & Marketing leads marketing and digital mobilization for America the Entrepreneurial and the broader organization of Right to Start. Reporting to the Office of the CEO and working in close coordination with Government Affairs, Field Operations, and Communications, the Director integrates campaign strategy and digital mobilization into a cohesive national engine that fuels supporter engagement and momentum to drive concrete action and reform.

The Director owns the campaign strategy and execution, the digital activation infrastructure that drives measurable movement growth, and the digital marketing assets of the organization. This includes supporter recruitment funnels, monthly Calls to Action strategy and tracking, national narrative positioning, conversion of engagement into documented civic engagement, social media channels and content, newsletter, and website. While many organizational objectives are shared across teams, this leader is directly accountable for campaign performance metrics tied to national influence, digital growth, and measurable supporter actions.

In addition to outward-facing campaign strategy, the Director ensures disciplined internal systems management (including Quorum tracking, engagement dashboards, digital segmentation, and performance analytics) so that campaign activity translates into measurable supporter growth, documented civic participation, and concrete policy reform outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities
